Travel Clinic
As part of the Scottish Government Vaccine Transformation Programme, NHS Forth Valley launched its Travel Health Service in April 2022, replacing the service previously provided by GP practices. The service delivers travel health advice and NHS funded travel vaccinations to residents across Forth Valley.
In April 2023, the service expanded to include private travel vaccinations.
The Travel Health Service hub is based at Falkirk Community Hospital and is delivered by a team of highly trained Immunisation Nurses specialising in travel health and travel medicine.
